Feeding the Worms in Our Worm Farm

Everytime we open up the worm farm box we are surprised how many more worms are present and how big the worm are growing. The students enjoy getting some worms out and letting them crawl on their hands. The worms are fussy eaters. They will only eat healthy food like veggies and fruits, but they also eat newspaper scraps. You are welcome to send us your old newspapers and anything like carrots, lettuce, apples or grapes. It is always a fun time when we open the worm box.

Our Spring Walk Around the School

One afternoon we all took a walk around the outside of the school searching for signs of Spring. It was a beautiful, sunny and warm day. The tree everyone is standing under was blooming with blossoms.
We found this pretty white daffodil.
This tree sits on the Kindergarten ramp and Harleigh took a picture of Savannah there.
Dandilions were appearing around the area with their bright colored heads.
A beautiful, white, blossoming tree seen in the distance.
A pretty pink Hyacinth plant. It is a common and early blooming spring flower.
Tiny yellow Daffodils growing together like ten long fingers. Happy Spring to everyone!
