We've been learning about different genres of literature. Here is our favorites graph.

It says Ledgends, Folk Tales, Biography, Poerty, Fairy Tales and Myths. We are encouraging the students to pick a variety of books to read, and not just to read only one kind of book.

We read the story of The Trojan Horse and we liked that story.

We learned about different Indian groups and their homes and crafts. We made masks and necklaces and we danced to Indian music.

Happy Halloween

We had a fun time learning about bats, spiders, and skeletons just before Halloween. On Friday the students got to dress up and put on a scary face for this picture.
