We studied about China and we learned that they use dragons in some celebrations. Each student colored their own dragon face and then we made a big dragon out of links of colored paper.
We constructed bridges with gumdrops and toothpicks. We tested the strength of each bridge using a cup of pennies. One bridge broke a 7 pennies and one bridge held up to over 60 pennies. It was a fun experience using different construction strategies.
